Following the birth of a stillborn baby, a miscarriage or a baby who dies shortly after birth, you may find yourself experiencing a wide range of feelings. It is difficult to bring into focus what has really happened. You may have given birth, but now you don’t have a baby to take home. These experiences are hard to share, even with those close to you. Other people have trouble understanding what you are going through, and what to say or do to help.
We hope Parent Support of Puget Sound, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization put together by parents who have experienced the loss of a baby, will offer some insight into common feelings and experiences. Remember, however, that each experience is unique, and that not everyone follows a set pattern.
The menu above will give you more information about Parent Support, as well as commonly asked questions, related topics links, a calendar of events, quarterly newsletters and information about our local groups and meetings.
